Project 2012 Releases Two Original Videos
Temporary Foreign Workers is one of the first videos on the topic to be produced in Canada. The second video is a poignant tour of former mining towns of Alberta's Cola Branch by ex-miner John Mitchell.

Levi Strauss announces closure of historic Edmonton plant
On 25 September 2003, Levi Strauss announced it was closing its Edmonton factory and throwing over 485 people, mostly women, out of work. The factory had existed as the Great Western Garment Company (GWG) since 1911.
